Fighting Period Poverty: Sustainably

In a joint collaboration effort with @juniper.cup we worked on a series of 4 workshops on periods and menstrual cups as a sustainable option for menstrual hygiene in Beirut.

Why is this important? Menstrual products have seen a 500% price increase and remained unsubsidized amidst the economic devastation in Lebanon. Period poverty is very real.

These workshops create a positive space for women to talk about periods and to discuss in detail how menstrual cups can be a long lasting, comfortable and empowering way for menstruation care. All attendees who asked for them got them alongside informational booklets, and most did.
